Our ‘Open’ Olympic Weightlifting class is perfect for those who are totally new or looking to practice their olympic weightlifting skills. It is available to any member who has completed their basic OnRamp training, is registered in our CrossFit Program, and is looking to practice only the Olympic Lifts (clean, jerk, & snatch) and spend some additional time working on the barbell.
In this class there is no ‘WOD’, only barbell work.
We typically spend the first half of the class focusing on a ‘skill’ or a barbell drill, and in the second half of the class we build up to a heavy lift that’s relevant to the previously worked on skill. This session is perfect for an athlete of ANY level who is looking to get better at the olympic lifts.
