WHAT IS IT? 

Our Strength & Conditioning program includes the basic principals of our CrossFit program (constantly varied & functional) but without the 'kipping' or 'olympic lifting' aka the high skill gymnastics and Olympic Lifting.
 

WHY DO WE OFFER IT? 

Olympic Lifting (clean, jerk, snatch) is hands down the most efficient way to develop speed and power in a person - if you take the time to learn (and practice) proper technique. 

Kipping and the high skill gymnastics movement are great ways to 'do work' efficiently - if you take the time to learn (and practice) proper technique.

The goal of our Strength & Conditioning program is to bring the effectiveness of a CrossFit program (full body, functional, and intense) to those that may not want to commit to 3x / week or more. 
 

WHAT DO YOU DO in it?

The strength classes will focus on teaching proper mechanics of the major compound lifts (Squat, Deadlift, Press, Bench, etc) and follow a basic progression to help you develop strength in those lifts from week to week.

The cardio (Metcon, Sweat, etc) classes will use the same principals as CrossFit to help you build a conditioning base, while also burning fat.

I am LOVING the classes so far- it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for since moving here three years ago but haven’t found. The mix of lifting and strengthening combined with cardio within the hour is perfect and the flow is great from start to finish. I wouldn’t change a thing!
